
Rev. Ibrahim Omondi is the Apostolic Director of Africa for DCFI, giving oversight to over 70 congregations in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and India. He is also a member of the DCFI Intl Apostolic Council. He served four years as General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya until early 2006. He also has been influential in bringing together Nairobi pastors for major events such as March for Jesus, Prayer for the Nation, and city-wide crusades. He further served as a representative to the Kenya Constitutional Conference (2003-2005) and is a Presidential appointee to the National Anti-Corruption Campaign Steering Committee.
Ibrahim holds a Master Degree in Communication / Print from Wheaton College Graduate School, and a B.A. in English from Goshen College. His training includes Bible and Theology at Rosedale Bible College and AMBS Seminary. From 1985-1988, Ibrahim worked as Editor of "Beyond Magazine" in Kenya until the publication was banned by the Kenyan government in March 1988. He has served on the Board of groups such as the All-Africa Conference of Churches, Oasis Counseling, Trans-World Radio, and FEBA Radio.
Diane Omondi has lived in Kenya since 1984. She holds a BA in Church Ministry from Goshen College and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Montessori Centre International. She serves with her husband, Ibrahim, in giving leadership to DOVE Christian Fellowship in East Africa. Ibrahim and Diane have four children.
