Our Role in The Kingdom of God
Springs of Africa is a water pipe in supporting the kingdom work in Africa. Our partners and donors are the source feeding water into the pipe enabling us to then position the pipe to ensure optimum yield in the harvest field!
Since 1985...
God has, by his grace, used SOA in a variety of ministries across Africa. They include training, writing, church planting, mobilizing leaders, advocacy, missions and pastoring. Reaching out to the needs of the underprivileged in our midst has also been our focus.
The Omondi's continue to pastor a church in Nairobi, and give oversight to over 70 DCFA congregations in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and India. This involves traveling across the nations to mobilize pastors and church leaders for prayer, fellowship and networking. It also involves speaking out on issues that affect the Kenyan society.
In the midst of these very fulfilling and challenging activities, Ibrahim & Diane often wondered how to set up a ministry that provides a channel for reaching out, encouraging and supporting those in need and those who could be equipped for leadership. An answer to this question came in 2002 when they began the registration process of Springs of Africa.
Since its inception, SOA has been able to accomplish a lot! But there is still much work to be done! You can partner with us and those working with us to train, equip and touch lives in East Africa.
